Today, we’re going to help you get rid of that green deposit on your tiles. Now, naturally, it would be much better to prevent the green stains in the first place. This is easily done with a very simple trick. Boiled some potatoes? Pour the water you used to boil them in over the patio tiles. That’s all! Do this regularly, and the green stains will stay away. 

For some, this prevention tip might have come a little late, though, which is why we’re now going to explain how to make your green patio tiles look as good as new again. This very simple trick is all it takes!

This is what you will need:

• 5 tablespoons soda crystals
• 5 tablespoons soft soap
• 10 litres of hot water

Here’s what you do: pour the 10 litres of water into a large bucket, add the soap and soda and let both dissolve. Once it’s dissolved, pour out the contents of the bucket over your patio, making sure it’s divided evenly. Use a broom with hard bristles for this. Let the soda/soap mixture sit and soak for a while and then hose down the patio with water. The tiles will be perfectly clean again. Not a green stain in sight!
