No one could have seen this coming!

Dog owners already knew it: dogs have special senses. In the quiet neighbourhood of Willow Street, residents have become accustomed to seeing a German Shepherd standing near a storm drain every day. Passersby often wondered why the dog was so fixated on the drain, and what could possibly be holding her attention for so long. 

So this dog looks down the same drain every day. At first, there’s nothing strange about that, until people figure out what the dog is looking at – and especially what she’s waiting for….

When Dave is walking his dog, he comes across the German shepherd with no owner. The dog stands still at a drain and looks down the whole time. Dave pays it no further attention, but the next day she is there again. And again she looks down the drain. As Dave went about his routine, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off about the scene he has witnessed. He couldn’t understand why the dog was so fixated on the drain, and he wondered if he should have done something to help.
